Our Mission
To enhance the protection of the community and environment from hazardous materials incidents through planning, preparation and communication between citizens, business and government.
Who We Are
The Oklahoma County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is a not for profit community organization composed of police and fire emergency response personnel, industry and environmental representatives, news media, and interested citizens of Oklahoma County. LEPC members work together to develop plans to educate, communicate, and protect our local community in case of a chemical release. Unless otherwise noted, the Oklahoma County LEPC normally meets the second Wednesday in February, May, August, and November at 2:00 p.m. at the Regional Multi-Agency Coordination Center, 4600 N. Martin Luther King Avenue. The meeting is open to everyone that is interested in emergency planning in Oklahoma County.
