Our Mission

Who We Are

The Oklahoma County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is a not for profit community organization composed of police and fire emergency response personnel, industry and environmental representatives, news media, and interested citizens of Oklahoma County. LEPC members work together to develop plans to educate, communicate, and protect our local community in case of a chemical release. Unless otherwise noted, the Oklahoma County LEPC normally meets the third Thursday of the month in February, May, August, and November at 2:00 p.m. at the Regional Multi-Agency Coordination Center, 4600 N. Martin Luther King Avenue in Oklahoma City. The meeting is open to everyone that is interested in emergency planning in Oklahoma County. If you would like a copy of the agenda for the upcoming meeting or a copy of the minutes from the last meeting, check the Meeting Information page.
